Our sons have learned confidence, control, respect and dedication

My husband and I started our kids in karate as a way to stay active and to learn discipline.  Over their 10 + years of instruction with Sensei Blair Purdy at Purdy Centre for the Arts they have learned so much more.  They have learned confidence, control, respect and dedication.  One has reached the rank of 2nd degree black belt and the other 1st degree black belt and they both continue to train under Sensei Blair.  Sensei Blair was able to engage their interest with his fun drills and patient manner when they were younger and he has been able to retain their interest by encouraging them to continue learning and challenging themselves physically.  I look forward every year to the Karate demonstration at the Schomberg Fair and am always amazed to see the Dojo’s students and their progress.
